Most common rejection reasons
- 1A photo file that misses the myPhoto file rulesStaff reject an application whose photo file does not match the myPhoto file specifications exactly, so check the file before you upload it.
- 2Closed eyes, or eyes covered by hairKeep both eyes normally open (not wide) and clear of hair, with the mouth closed.
- 3A portrait-style poseFace the camera straight on with level shoulders; photos with the person looking over one shoulder are not accepted.
- 4A print made on a home printer (applications abroad)Abroad, a physical photo must be on analog photographic paper, not made with household inkjet or laser technology.
