Most common rejection reasons
- 1A photo cropped from your passportThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists a photo cropped from the passport as a mistake that can lead to rejection. Upload a proper passport-type photograph.
- 2Shirtless or inappropriate topA photo that shows you shirtless, or in a tank top or strapless top, will be rejected. Wear a top with sleeves or straps that cover the shoulders.
Snap2Pass never edits your face. It replaces the background and crops the photo to size, nothing else.
Also worth knowing
- Online applicationThe portal checks your photo when you upload it
The Thai eVisa site checks the photo on upload and can warn that it might fail the guidelines, for example if the head is too small or other people or objects appear. If it cannot validate the photo, it tells you to check the guidelines yourself, and you can continue if you are sure the photo complies.
