Most common rejection reasons
- 1Bangs over the eyesA photo where bangs hide the eyes is unsuitable. Pin hair back so the eyes are visible.
- 2Retouched photosEnlarging the eyes, whitening the skin or removing moles and wrinkles is never acceptable.
- 3A mirrored selfieA photo flipped left to right is unsuitable. Phone selfies are often mirrored, so check before you print.
- 4A blurred photoOut-of-focus or shaken photos make the person hard to identify, and you will be asked to retake.
- 5A dark backgroundA dark background makes the outline of the head hard to see. Use a plain, light background.
